Self-remembering

Self-remembering is an attempt to be aware of yourself here, while remaining aware of what you are doing and what is around you.

Self-observation notices a function or reaction. Self-remembering adds the sense of one’s own presence. The words are a reminder to try, rather than a description that guarantees the experience.

The small experiments here are introductory prompts, not quotations from the books.
