Fourth Way
Enneagram
In the Fourth Way, the enneagram is a diagram for studying processes. It brings the law of three and the law of seven into one figure.
- Three · 9–3–6
- The interaction of affirming, denying and reconciling forces.
- Seven · 1–4–2–8–5–7
- Development is not uniform: a process has intervals where its direction can change and further input is needed.
Read this as Gurdjieff’s process symbol. The later personality-type enneagram is a different use of the figure.
