Fourth Way

Self-observation

Notice a thought, a feeling or a movement as it occurs. Begin by seeing it, without immediately explaining, judging or correcting it.

The teaching describes many changing “I”s: one part wants to act, another puts it off. Self-observation begins to make these shifts and automatic reactions visible.

The small experiments here are introductory prompts, not quotations from the books.
